Do I gradually switch to the 12/12 to flower?

I like a healthy stretch in my plants, I don't think its bad. If my indica's don't stretch enough in the beginning of 12\12 yield will deminish. I used to grow some straight sativas and the best way to work around the stretching was a SCROG. then they can stretch as much as they wish. Without...

Do I gradually switch to the 12/12 to flower?

24-48 hours of straight darkness and then 12\12 worked best for me. fatality, call bullshit on whatever you like, I've done my TRYING. It makes the plants move faster to flowering.

Male pod with hair coming out? Is this normal? (pic)

If you don't have any plants near this one you could grow it out, but this is some majorly fucked up plant. It should be smokable and god knows what the smoke will become. Probably won't yield much. If you have plants near this plant kill it.

    2010 #1 - Indoor Coco-Perlite Hindu Kush & Hailley's Comet 400w

If you take the male branches 2-3 days before they open up they will release pollen even unrooted in a cup of water in complete darkness. Female branches won't make seeds this way. You can take clones from a female this way, grow one for a week until it throws some roots and flower it. Then 3-4...

those are males, and keep the pollen even if you'r not going to use it this run. when you want, mix all the pollen from good looking males and pollinate the girls. You'll get tons of new seeds to keep going. I'm making F2s of Jilly Bean, Jack the Ripper, 3rd Dimension and maybe a few crosses. I...

    Me growing some subcool stuff

Wanted to share a picture of my JTR. It threw another nanner a few days ago but way less than last time. I won't be running with this one any more - I don't like nanners. I'll get a new pack and look for a more stable keeper probably. 400W, soil with BioNova Supermix and some additives. Very...

To preserve the Hindu Kush genetics you'll need to grow a few males to avoid a bottle neck in the genetics. I don't think the Hailley's Comet is an IBL so you will creating F2s which are less stable. To flower males you can build a seperate chamber (I use a PC case) or flower them in small...

Take a picture of the whole cab to help us see how filled up it is. Sounds like you should flower them now. You could either supercrop or simply bend sideway and go SCROG or you could just top the plants to keep them shorter. Why should the plants not get enough light? A lot of light =...

    temp question

For the early stage you want ~28°C and 70-80% RH. Once the plants look healthy and firm you want 26°C and 50% RH. You want to get to around 22°C and 20% RH by the end of flowering, changing it gradually since flipping the lights to 12\12. If you don't have an AC and dehumidifier the OK zone is...

50 days into flowering purple kush

They look nice. You should lower your temps and humidity to 20-24°C \ 30-45% to make more purple come out.

Is it a bad idea to use my vaporizer in my grow area?

Its fine, don't worry. Considering most people has quite a bit of air ventilation in their grow rooms if something doesn't harm you it will probably go away too quick to harm your plants. I smoke into my cab's air intake to filter the smell of the joint - works well and the plants doesn't seem...

Is this a bud beginning to form?

reffer to this chart: I like to be on the top part of the chart but suit yourself. I usually arrange my plants in a stadium kind of arrangment. I find it to be the smartest with horizontical growing. (I'm going to start a vertical flowering cycle in a few days and see if its better) The...

With a cooltube I get my 400W up to 10cm from the tops. 15cm is my ideal distance. They get ultra phat this way ;-) When handling nutrients you should increase the dose 0.2mS at a time up to the amount that burns the plant. For refference; my 40cm tall Jilly Bean takes up to 1.8mS. My 50cm...

    2010 #1 - Indoor Coco-Perlite Hindu Kush & Hailley's Comet 400w

I'd say wait 2 weeks after up-potting and then flower them. Pure indicas stretch. Not as much as sativas but they do. Its really up to the phenotip - I got a cross that didn't stretch AT ALL. It stopped the veg and went to flowering right when I've pulled the switch. Other phenotips from the...

    2010 #1 - Indoor Coco-Perlite Hindu Kush & Hailley's Comet 400w

The hydrotron shouldn't pose a problem - when you stack pots the humidity rise a LOT and its more than enough for the roots to grow through even if there was only air. When they plants roots well (2 weeks) into the bottom pot you can pick the whole thing by the plants stem. If you'r really...

    2010 #1 - Indoor Coco-Perlite Hindu Kush & Hailley's Comet 400w

I can't see anything in the photos. If they are so rootbound its hard to stick a finger in you really need to transplant. You can just stack the pot on top of another pot letting the roots penetrate the bottom pot through the drainage holes. I told you before, mixing in some tap water will...
