I've combined my coco with Dr. Earth organic pot of gold soil 50/50 and I have found the seeds don't move around as much. You get the fluffiness of the coco with all the benefits of the good stuff in the soil, plus the organic dry nutrient line from Dr. earth loves the soil and microbes. I think...
Might be the sound thing to do.. I'll try one with their method and if it doesn't work out I'll do the rest in the medium. I just successfully germinated 3/3 random bagseed so I know I'm doing it right.
Update - I contacted them and explained the photoperiod and duds situation. They are willing to send me a one time reimbursement of seeds. Lol. I guess they get another chance to prove this thread wrong. My hopes aren't very high, pun intended :blsmoke:
Is this a 2x2 tent? If so I would only do one in the 5 gallon if you choose to do so. So if you wanted more of a perpetual grow you could do autos in the 3 gallon pots.
5 gallon fabric smart pots, I use 3 gallon and have a few autos and with some LST they won't be breaking much after 2 feet
I'm not sure if the air pots are much better but you could give those a look as well
PH and Medium? I use Dr. Earth and they have to be similar
Calcium/Magnesium would be my guess. Supplement with some blackstrap molasses or something and you should be good
I'm hoping so, I put an order in at a local shop and they have pot of gold, not homegrown in warehouse. It's the off season and I couldn't be more glad pot is legal here :bigjoint: people used to be trailed at stores like these for cops to arrest them. They know what it's for :weed:
Hey guys, I was looking at what is in the Dr Earth Homegrown and it looks to be decent. What would you guys think about mixing it with coco/perlite as a control to keep it from being too hot? Could it be used by itself to start seedlings?
Honestly I'd lean more towards the Dr. Earth. The top dressing schedules and strength is what has me questioning it. Typically id do 2 tbsp per gallon but I'm not good enough at conversions or math to figure that out.
Hey guys. I am going to be doing a Solo Cup Grow Off, and need help deciding what nutrients to use. I have access to coco and soil, so the question is liquid nutrients or dry amendments. Or a mix of both? I have Dr Earth dry amendments and the fox farms trio liquid nutes, along with some...
I am finding this out as well! One of the two supposed autoflowers, is in fact, a photoperiod! I have no idea what strain it may be either. It's been a mutant it's whole life, sprouting 3 leaf fan leaves everywhere. I'm not complaining IG because it's a pretty decent looking plant, but jeez I at...
Another full week and Larry has not shown preflower pistils. Definitely WANTS TO but I think it's not an autoflower. I've swapped the light schedule to 12/12 to induce flower, because it's been vegging in this 3 gallon smart pot for 5 weeks. I think it's time. She's filled out the pot a little...
These were 100 percent going to be used for growing! We confronted her. She was moving and didn't know how she was going to get a supply.. Ended up not needing them and then they sat ever since. Keep an eye on the forum and you can find out for yourself, as well, if they develop resin or not xD
Hey guys. So pretty cool story. Wife and I were cleaning out the mother in law's place and found a box of seeds in a cigarette container in an old purse. The seeds have got to be at least 10-20 years old. They have been in a dark place, in the box the entire time never opened. I'm honestly...
Take your time down to 10 on/14 off even I mean they need a shift in time to start flower. They don't just do it. Maybe yours genetically need less time in the day to stay in veg.
Hey guys. Day 34 for these Autos. They have bushed out very well. Larry is on the left. He looks like he may be getting some kind of nute burn... Possibly PH issue? Jerry is on the right. Jerry has thicker and darker leaves. Looks to be starting flower, has a lot more pistils. I've given Jerry...
Alright so I believe we are on day 16 from these autos popping out of the soil. Larry looks a little bit lighter in color than Jerry. I assume because when I mixed nutrients I mixed both 3 gallons together and then scooped out in the individual pots. I believe a different nutrient mix is in...
