right now i have 1 fan blowing on the bulbs (right now the glass is off) 1 exhaust fan on top and 1 intake fan coming in from the bottom. Temp~78 + or - 5. Humidity 35-55%. I definitely will put up some daylight cfls around the plants to help vegging.

The best HPS bulb (IMO) is the 1000w Hortilux. Any digital ballast will work wonders, and a nice reflector with openings for air-cooling would be best. But, you will be looking at a pretty hefty price tag if you plan on going 1000w top of the line HPS. My estimate would be about $650-750...

The only way you could get high off leaves is if you waited until you harvested your plant. There is no way the fan leaves would get you high now because their THC content is close to zilch.

If there is that much a difference in maturity between the top buds and the bottom, then yes, you can harvest separately. Although, I would recommend cutting the whole plant at once.

If your leaves are green, and it looks like all of yours are, theres no reason to cut the leaves. Just be patient, your buds will start fattening up real soon. Looking great for 4 weeks though, keep it up bro.

It really doesn't matter which wattages you use, all that matters is if you go smaller wattages, you'll just need more. I would definitely say if you can afford big cfls, go for it. What would be smart would be to have your powerful cfls above the plants, and have 2 lower watt cfls on the sides.
