I topped the plant once, when it started to recover i tied down branches to make it bushier. I think it had some to do with genetics tho. No idea what strain it is but it really worked well topping it. Only problem i have now is buds are getting heavy and i am not sure how to tie up everything...

I honestly cannot think of how i could of gotten it wet. Only thing i can think of that might of happened is it touched the light for a few seconds when i lifted up plant to change out res. Could that cause it? But you were right it never spread any further just made a few leaves look terrible...
