For almost 2 decades, I've stored every seed, auto and photo, in my frig and germ straight to medium ...100% germ. Moisture and heat mat on 80F are essential. Nothing else required but patience. While you may see some success with paper towels, it seems handling increases failure rates.

I start every seed, auto and photo, in 12 oz solo cups of BB light Mix and transplant into 3ltr air pots at 3 weeks....with couple decades of success with it, I've had no reason to change.

Being a 'bonzai' style grower, I've used plastic and fabric but the simplest is an air pot. Easy to handle.

I know there's other products that'll help , but a little soap in your water is an easy adjustment. A cheap and simple moisture meter will give you a much better idea of moisture in the root zone.

They look fine. I start every seed under T5 in solo cups of BBLM also and transplant when leaves reach the side of the cup. Careful with watering as the roots need to be searching...leaves will tell ya when they need moisture...they can handle a drought much better than a flood.

As mentioned previously, while purple is pretty to show and tell, The potency doesn't seem to carry over into that color. Fastbuds Purple lemonade was the most purple ever consistently but potency didn't match the beauty.

12/12 does well with autoflowers as long as dli/ppfd is in spec. You'll like the reduced care costs.

Forget the pause and go full blast 12/12.

Personally, I veg every plant, auto and photo, 24/0 under T5HO for 3 weeks. Then all are moved to a bloom area under 12/12 assorted led. Keep dli/ppfd in spec and it's all good. After running this way perpetually for over 15 years, I'm about to figure these damn weeds are worth smoking!
