im going to be doing that with a mini fridge soon. most fridges have built in temp controls so you can you them. but better to do that with a high heat admitting light as it might get too cold and kill your plants. but if you do it b4 me tell me about and keep me posted as i would like to see...

get sunshine bulbs for it at walmart or lowes. theyre in the red spectrum so they should be good for flowering. thats all i can think of. good luck.

i just stole a 150w hps light for flower and tried to hook it to a regular socket. didnt work. dont they require some kinda ballast? if so how big are they? and couldnt i get one from lowes? thanks for positive input :mrgreen:

dont buy that 500$ crap. you can buy a solar panel at most hardware stores. they are like 60$ for a 100w. you just hook it to a car battery and it will charge the battery all day. of course for this you need some electrical knowledge.

This is my setup. Pic1 is of my intake PC Fan with a glow in the dark weed leaf on it :]. This fan has a eggcrate{like for your bed} material around it. it eliminates all sound from the fan. the fan is also running on a 9v plug instead of a 12v. was to reduce sound but got the eggcrate idea and...

Also I've found the perfect solution to PC fan noise in which ill go into detail later. i shoulda post this under ghettoponics cuz it cost me 10$ to make this whole cabinet :] and it looks ghetto as fuck but its not completely finished.
