A dome does help seedlings a bit if your starting them in the very dry, cooler times of year.

Transferring is fine depending on your method. When starting seed you could leave the dome on for humidity retention. This is the only time I use a dome. Never for clones. Also, don't kill them with too much light in the beginning. What's the light wattage?

Have you tried straight up chemical part a/b mixes on this system before?
