Should I transplant before I trigger flowering?

Here's my deal. I currently have four plants ranging from 12" to 14". They are about 7 weeks old and are definitely female. They are currently in 10 Liter containers (less than 3 gal). My questions is should I transplant them now into bigger pots. Or will they be ok in the pots they are now...

Are lower numbered fertilizer ok to use? (i.e. 5-4-4)

$ isn't a real issue. Just trying to get what I can at home depot. Back to my original question though. Are using lower numbered fertilizers ok? Like the Alaskan one is 5-1-1. Another is Kelloggs organic 5-4-4. Is this adequate, or do I need something like 20-10-10? That's what I really...

    well a no no happened

Take the advice you were given and LEAVE THEM BE. Cut the top off? Does that sound like it will be good for a highly stressed plant? It's injured; mend to its injuries, don't amputate it. Right?

Are lower numbered fertilizer ok to use? (i.e. 5-4-4)

Maybe I should have explained what I meant. I'm using cfls, using bagseed and not going to get the top of the line product (ie Fox Farms). I have two sets of plants; ones that are about 4 weeks old, and ones that are 2 weeks old. I need to give the 4 week one some nutes. So next time...

Are lower numbered fertilizer ok to use? (i.e. 5-4-4)

So anyone have any input? Vigoro, Dynamite and I believe an Alaskan Fish Fertilizer are available alternatives. I will try the Alaskan if I can find it. Anyone tried these?

Are lower numbered fertilizer ok to use? (i.e. 5-4-4)

Just wondering if you really need a higher numbered fertilizer for vegging. Example being 20-10-10 vs 5-4-4. I went to Home Depot and they had a bunch of MG and Shulz, which I heard are a no go. Also the majority of the fertilizers there were time release, which is also bad. The few that I...

Growing on window sill with 24/0 supplemental cfls; some input needed

Hello all. I am currently growing 5 small sized plants, and 6 seedlings on a window sill with a shelf extending from the window. I currently am using 5 x 27w daylight 5500k cfls within desk lamps. I have a couple of questions regarding my setup. 1) My area does not get alot of direct...

    seedling help

I had something similar happen to my seedlings. Very different setup, but I used some crappy MG soil and it totally burned my seedlings. I thought they were all goners, but after about 10 days in I transplanted them into some good organic soil and they recovered and are doing very nicely now...

Is it ok to only transplant once? (From 16 oz to 2.5 gal)

Ok so lets say I transplant when they are a few weeks old into a 2.5 gallon container. This will not cause the roots to shoot straight to the bottom of the pot, whereas you put it in a smaller pot, it does this less; causing less stretching? Regarding my other question though, will I be able...

Is it ok to only transplant once? (From 16 oz to 2.5 gal)

So thanks in advance to anyone who gives advice. A couple questions: So If my goal is to have say a 2.5 foot plant total in length, would it be ok transplant from the starting 16 oz cups into the 2.5 gallon pot and flower from that? How much of an advantage is it to say, transplant to a 1...

Is Kellogg Patio Plus ok for seedlings? (Heard different things)

I am starting another grow after frying my seedlings with some MG. Heard this one might be good, plus its the only one that I can find at home depot that ISNT Miracle Grow :-?. Anyway, I'm not a serious grower. I have some bag seeds, along with some legit seeds, but want to have a good trial...

Help seedling appear to be sickly (yellowing, red tips, purple stems)

Hello all, glad to be a member on this forum, and hoping someone can help me. I currently have 5 seedlings growing at approx 2 weeks of age. They have been growing fine up until a couple days ago when I noticed them starting to yellow, and the leaves overall are a light green, not a dark green...
