If the soil stays moist all the time and never fully drys then your gonna need some perlite for sure and I would build raised beds also. Just bring in a pallet build a good mound on it after you've added all of your amendments added and the girls should love it.

Thanks for the help with that. I'll just throw the ba of "manure" on my vegetable garden to get rid of it. I will use guano and some meals akin with some trace elements. You live in the Midwest then do you use seed banks?

I went to menards to get some organic soil, perlite an some manure but on the label it said no ingredients and I was wondering if anyone knew if this " new life composted manure" is ok to use. What kind of manure is in it? It says it is .5 N....that's it. It was only 3 bucks.

I've done afghan gold and it is potent, has a wonderful smell, super sticky, mold resistant and big dense buds. Quite resistant from everything bc the strain originated from high altitudes in afghanastan. It goes from really hott to super cold at nights. So it is great for outside grows.
