Be sure to put some drainage holes in the cup (5 or 6), and water in well the first time to settle the soil and eliminate air pockets...you should see it draining freely from the bottom. At this point feel how heavy the cup is. Then dont water again until it the heft of the cup is light...

As far as what to recommend for YOU, depends on your room. For ME, I use the ducted hoods with tempered glass because i can cool them and keep the plants out of the bulb.

Take away from your light period. A little more darkness wont hurt your bloomers.

Not sure how small is small...the one i have is from Home Depot, it rolls around on casters, is about the size of a medium suitcase. Holds alot of water....Right now I'm empyting it every three days or so. I think You'll find it will take care of the problem. Good luck

OK lets slow down here.....you said you were watering 2-4 oz a day which sounds like alot, but the peat pots seem dry? I'd suggest getting a new jiffy pot and expand it....when its done feel how much it weighs, see how much drips from it, get a feel for it. You don't want dripping soaking...

Good advice....tie it down, or believe it or not, carefully carefully bend it just til you feel the branch slightly break...it wont hurt your plant and alot of people (including me) believe it makes the bud thicker. These plants are pretty resilient. Good luck

Have never grown KC Brains but he's been around for a long time so should be ok. FWIW, I just bought some from Attitude, under the Pick a Seed part...can buy as few as 1 seed if you wanna try some top notch varieties. Good Luck

yes I agree looks pretty immature...not sure how long the flowering time is for that variety, if it's a long one your HPS may bulk it up some if you get it soon, but I'm also wondering about his ferts? Possibly too much N? Just throwing that out there. Good luck

Careful with the watering...if your soil seems too wet, just watch it may recover. If soil seems ok, try a dome (clear plastic cup, tupperware, etc...) it may perk up. If soil is too dry give it a lil water and spritz the leaves. Try to learn how to use weight of the pot to help determine...

It's normal and usual for large fan leaves to yellow as the plant ages thru flowering. When you think about it, a plant in flower is a plant nearing the end of it's life. At this point, its goal is to make flowers so it can reproduce. The plant "knows" it's going to die so puts its energy...

They'll flower....as long as plant has equal or less dark over light, the plant flowers. You can flower all the way on 14/10 or 16/8, however using a 12/12 ratio (50/50) gives your plant the greatest opportunity to photosynthesis while remaining in a flowering state.

Just from my own experience, I think the MH will give you a wider footprint. The T5's are great - I veg with them - but once you get out from right under it the fixture, the brightness drops off fast.

You can take cuttings, put in glass of water, and set in window to root. It will take awhile, and results aren't as reliable, but it can be done. Lightly, lightly skin off the outer layer on your cutting, about an inch up from the bottom. Be sure to not leave alot of leaf on your cuttings...
