+1 probably just mineral salts. Pretty much the same stuff that accumulates around sink faucets, shower heads etc. It kinda accumulates around the cap & top of Nute bottles too. Damp off, mold and whatnot look more like the stuff growing on old bread, or suspicious leftovers in the fridge...
