    Iso hash vs. bubble hash

After trying each method for a few months, heres my take. IWE(bubble) Pros: -Done right, the flavor and smell is hard to beat -Even fucked up, no solvents to worry about ingesting Cons: -Time consuming and you can only do one run per day if your bags take forever to drain like most -Freezers...

1/2 strength, 1/4 strength, or FULL strength on hydro nutrients?

Just gotta read the plants man. EC requirements depend on the strain, size, and health of the plant, as well as your nutrient content and environment. I know, not the answer you're looking for. Specifics are nearly impossible to give though. Most of those who DO give specific recommendations are...

    Over fertilization.

A day at most should be fine. DWC will respond within hours. Depending how big they are, flushing for a week could leave you with some pretty serious deficiencies. What strength did you feed at? Just flush for 24 hours and add nutes back in at 20-25% of recommendation.

In search of better aromas from the GH Lucas formula

Whether or not it SHOULD be used in hydroponics is a debate for another day as I dont want to start a AN war here. But hydroponic nutrient lines do use urea. In any case, it was just an example and is mostly irrelevant. Found a couple papers talking about it. They agree aroma is mostly...

    Drying Baskets Pro or Con????

^^Agreed. I have one, and my larger buds tend to flatten if I lay them down wet. Anything smaller is fine, and just hanging the bigger ones for a day or 2 is enough to be able to lay them down. Great use of space, I definitely recommend them. Here's what I did:

PH keeps going up? but it's only water!!

I dont know specifics for what substances would do it and at what temperatures, but I know it CAN have an effect. Temperature affects solubility, so as temperature changes, some things may go into or out of solution and that can change the pH of the solution. Similar concept to what cannabineer...

In search of better aromas from the GH Lucas formula

Got a question on this. Obviously brand itself doesn't matter, but I could see the source making a difference. IE urea vs ammoniacal nitrate. If plants respond differently to different sources in the form of growth and structure, I see no reason it couldn't also affect aroma, color, and flavor...

My under current DWC grow shed.

I'm in socal too(IE). Heats a bitch right now for sure. Have you thought about running a chiller and its own res outside the room, and using a pump/wort chiller to chill your system? If air temps are 75, expect water temps to be at least that. Water and air pumps heat it up quite a bit. Just...

What is more stressful. Pinching or LST (Poll)

lmao workin that analogy into the ground eh? I was joking with you bud. Comparing a mammal's stress response to that of a plant is never going to actually demonstrate or prove anything. My point was that one method causes no actual damage, while the other does. If you're not understanding how...

Cloning Experement - Honey vs Schultz Take Root vs Clonex gel

No PVC, cutters, or glue needed for what SF mentioned. Bucket with lid($3), cut 15 holes with this: http://midhardware.com/hardware/product_info.php?products_id=5478425 and add foam inserts($1), fill with plain water, add pump($8 ) airstone($2) and clones. $17, no recurring costs. I'm not...

My under current DWC grow shed.

Nice setup man, definitely looks good. +rep and welcome to RIU Couple things I noticed. I'm sure space restriction had something to do with it, but having your epicenter underneath the lights is going to make water temps that much more difficult to control. If there's any way to run a pipe...

16 Different strains, any grow advice?

I run a perpetual, 2 flower areas and one veg, and the flower tent I posted is the least time consuming of them all. It really depends on what's going on in the garden that particular week. Anywhere from 1hr on feed/water only weeks, to maybe 7hrs during harvest weeks when I have to transplant...

    Grow tent ?'s

Not trying to argue, but I use 2 tents and been around plenty more. Half of your problems just don't seem right, and the other 2 seem more like individual setup issues than tent-specific issues. A. I dont think it's a bad deal to spend $150 for a cheap 4x8/5x10 tent, even if its cheaper quality...

    C02 Question

It doesnt really matter where you release it if you have proper air circulation. My goal with circulation is to avoid any deadspots and to create a general upward current. So even though co2 is heavier, its getting blown around and upwards towards the exhaust before it really gets the chance to...

    Flowering with UnderCurrentDWC

+REP for a NICE setup. Clean work, those are gonna be some MONSTERS, which I'm sure you already know judging by the size of those cages! Question for ya: Saw you mentioned 10x capacity as a minimum for water pump in another thread, and noticed you have over 20x. Sizing out parts for a setup I'm...

    C02 Question

First off, you're right about co2 only during light hours. Plants use it for photosynthesis. Youre also right about not wanting to exhaust when you are supplementing. Which is why its so difficult to add to smaller setups. You're not right about co2 in such short bursts being common. Most people...

3000w Multi Strain Medical Grow!! Soil ScroG, Waterfarms, DWC

Yeah I've been pretty impressed by how stable it is for an OG and its been a pleasure to grow. Sad to be done with it, theres just too many strains I wanted to grow to stick with one for too long.

3000w Multi Strain Medical Grow!! Soil ScroG, Waterfarms, DWC

The yield wasn't too shabby and I really like the smoke but youre right, theyre not fast girls by any means. That bud structure is what stood out to me though, I love that lumpy but not foxtailed look. I got my cuts from an unverified source so I'm not sure how reliable the name is, but my SLH...
