Good arguments on both sides, but I think you need to go with what strikes your fancy. Go vertical if that's what you want to do. I'm sure you'll get plenty of bud. Budleydoright's grow is the shit. He has put a lot of thought into his set up.

Did 22 days of veg. 12 days of LST kept the plants under 12" tall prior to 12 / 12.
