    Weird brown ting

My friends plant has this weird brown spot at the bottom.. he was feeding 3-4-6 until I told him 20-20-20 would be better for veg(amirite?) With ph varying from 5 to 7 which is unbalanced for the plant & could possibly be the reason for the brown ish? Any ideas what this is?? Thanks!

    Are these too close together??

Yes obviously. BUT YOU NEVER KNOW WITH SCIENCE & LIFE. As I am still a NOOB. I will ask questions that might strike the experienced gardener as "ignorant" or "stupid" but I'm learning, and I will keep asking stupid questions until my question is answered. Don't know why sarcasm is required & so...

    Are these too close together??

These are my friends and I was wondering how I can salvage the situation.. No I will not be transplanting soon .. might try to flower when they are enormous if possible! :) I guess killing the excess and bringing them down to 4 into separate dixie cups is pretty much the only way out amirite ??

    Are these too close together??

Cayenne pepper seedlings. Before taking this pic, I picked a few out and still think they might be too close together.. Is their any solution other than reducing to like 4 babies?
