Try those dirt poker chips that come with seedling starter kits. Use bottled water adjusted to 5.5ph. Keep 'em under flouros and a humidity dome.

Is that 220v 1 phase or 2 phase? It's probably not going to work.

What are you using as your source of 220v? Are you going to 'hard wire' it or do you want it to 'plug' into a wall socket? The wiring looks very simple if you're sure about your source of 220v.
