How close do you have the lights?

I would have to say it's about 2 and a half now, I'm really surprised at how clear the signs are at so young.

Well I just checked up on my plants and it looks like one of my plants just showed her signs!

If that's just tin foil then you should probably get rid of it, I've been told it's not good for the plants. Also the lights should probably be closer.

I think those lights need to be a lot closer.

My dad used to grow opium in our back yard and we live in the bay area.

Ahhh nice, what strains? I like the especially hairy ones, it's my favorite feature of the bud.

I've recently started some seeds and I had the same issue, it's still too cold for them so I grew them inside in cups on a window sill and now they're ready for outdoors. Just another suggestion on starting.

Well I'm still new to this but I would guess that maybe under lights it was easier to get an exact 12/12 light cycle than just under the sun, I know there is a 12/12 natural cycle but maybe it wasn't in full effect yet?

Well as an update, the plant is looking a lot better and it's picking up it's leaves. There's still some spacing in the plant, will that clear up or will it stay there until the leaves fall off?

Well Grim, I have been reading and reading, and I have waited a while to start growing, forgive me for not knowing everything before I start but if I did I wouldn't be on here. Thanks for the help Gryphonn, I'm going to go and get some new soil and perlite for the plants today.

I didn't mix the soil with anything, it just came like that. Also about how much water should I give the plant?

Alright well the pots do have holes in the bottom, should some water be coming out from the holes when I water?

Where in California are you? I'm in the bay area. I'm just wondering because I'm also growing and wanted to know if now is a good time.

Well I know for sure that it helps plants grow, they've been using fish for a looong time now. As for how many or how deep I'm not sure and I would actually like to know this too.
