its gotta be nute burn the soil your using has nutes in it so when you added more soil it added more nutes try flushing it with ph balanced water let it dry nice and good then use water a couple more times before giving it nutes make sure you let the soil dry between waterings

i havnt heard anything about flora nova but the company general hydroponics i swear by, i use the bio bud fertalizer and the bio veg and it works amazing havnt had any problems

i would be careful with the cal mag. read up on it ive heard some horror stories about it. but then again ive also heard success stories to. and are you starting from seed. cant wait to see some pics
