first of all thanks! i start flowering them at about 10", i have a bank of lights that are half the distance to the ground (about 2ft) that i put my clones under, that helps fight some of the stretch in the first couple weeks of flower, however they still will get to be about 3 and a half ft...

thats true, i do give my stransplants one night of rest, then its on to 24hrs, i would say i notice a big difference in vegitation. just today i had a couple plants this morning that were 8.5", went back at about 6pm they were at 10", ready to start blooming!

since you are in veg though you dont have to worry to much about the dark cycle being complete, i actually run a 24hr light cycle on all my veg plants. your biggest worry for the few days your gone is they dont dry out i wouldnt water them from the top, but before you leave put about 1/4-1/2"...

yes, the true leaves are the actual cannabis leaves, right after the cotyledons. The cotyledons help nurture the plant through germination, and carry the genetic code of the plant. Its a natural process and will happen whenever the sprout is ready to release them.

its best to water when to top layer of dirt starts to look dry. You should also start getting to know the weight of what your pot feels like full, and empty, then you can just tip it real quick to see if it needs water.

yes, your plant is using stored up nitrogen, that is causing the yellowing of the leaves. increase your N just a bit to prevent any more vegitation loss for now, you will want to flush with plain water 2 weeks before harvest, then the rest of the vegitation will start to turn as the plant uses...

another problem your going to run into is the fact that you cannot train the buds to grow sideways, it would take multiple manipulations a day to keep the plants traind, with more than one screen layer... cannabis grows with and against gravity, the roots travel with gravity, and the vegitation...

just keep a close eye for the next few hours, make sure it doesnt get too hot, you can have your light that close, if it stays cool enough otherwise you will burn them up...
