lol i have ADD and OCD... weed is about the worst thing for both. doesn't stop me, does help me relax... but ADD often means forgetting everything/unable to focus, and OCD means you have tics and obsessions. Introducing weed will only make memory/concentration issues worse, and any side effects...

Could it simply be that the ballast isn't sufficient? I tried to check the voltage on the ballast and my multimeter stopped working (measured from ground to hot wie on ballast output). Took 3 measurements but itwas arcing (didn't have time to get a steady reading) so I didn't want to finish...

Its a hydrofarm brand grow light, 600w hps. I did plug it in yesterday to its own outlet and it did the same thing. Did not seem to be getting very hot. Also checked the bulb connection...it was pretty tight and no corrosion evident.

I know this is pretty late but did you guys figure out what was wrong. I have a lightg (same model I believe) doing the exact same thing... initially I figured it was the ballast, but could see it being the light now too. Appreciate whatever you could tell me.. thanks!
