As a woman, and a grower, in a non-medical state, I would be pissed if my b/f went around talking about mj with everyone he meets. Too easy to draw unwanted attention leading back to the grow. I'm not saying you shouldn't be pro-active, I'm just saying you should be smart at how you go about it ;)

Even though they are young.... you have been feeding with every watering and that's how you have salt buildup. Looks like early signs of it so a few waterings with just water and no food should flush the excess salt out. Then when you start feeding again only feed every 3rd watering. I knit too

Just be sure you have adequate ventilation and circulation to keep the temps under control. The 1000 watter is going to put off more heat then the 400 watter.

Very nice SK :) You might want to back off the feeding with every watering. I grow hydro so I'm no soil expert but from what I've read you should only be feeding it food every 3rd watering with soil. The tips (fringe) of your leafs look like either early signs of salt build-up or heat stress...
