How big an exhaust fan do I need for a 35 cubic foot closet in terms of CFM? Is 80 CFM too little? I can get a 250 CFM for only 10$ more but I'm afraid it'll suck out all the humidity too. I'm gonna be using a 200 watt CFL and a bunch of low watt CFL's so I dont think I should be too worried...

true. i didnt want my first hydroponic grow to be a failure (and waste precious seeds) so i planted peppers and cherry tomatoes instead. i also have jolokias and habaneros in there

lol funny you say that. i just converted a household oscillating fan into an exhaust fan. dunno how well it will work. i hooked it up to a plug-in thermostat and set the temperature at 75F i also added that small fan to circulate the air inside the box.

why are my plants so droopy?! can anyone tell what it is?! is it that they're not getting enough light?! also there's a couple of plants that just won't grow. their stems are tiny but the leaves are huge compared to the rest of the plant! please help!

i read somewhere that the smaller the number the brighter the light. does that mean more lumens per watt? cs ive seen 40watt t12 but never 40 watt t8s. they're all 32 watt. so i guess my question is which is better? a 40 watt t12 or a 32 watt t8? thanks! and before anyone suggests i use...

thanks for the help! i'm gonna stick with my 200 watter for now. add a few small cfl around the plants and maybe a couple of t8s that i have lying around. should be a fairly nice grow.

bah, i really am regretting buying that 200 watter. the box says 14000 lumens, so technically that's only good enough for about a 2x2' area. right? i should've waited a little and bought a 400 wat MH :/ thanks for you help tho!

i have a 200 Watt CFL from sunblaster. i was wondering how many plants i can grow under this light? and how far should it be from the top of the plants? also, should i surround the plants with a few 42Watt CFLs too? i'll appreciate any help you guys can offer!
