can it be done? i know you can use 430 watt bulbs with a 400 watt ballast but i was wondering if you could do the same and use two 600 watt bulbs with a 1000 watt ballast. anyone tried this? some dude at a hydro store told me it can be done but he looks sketchy and coked up lol

i cut down the watering to 2 half hour intervals a day a few days ago and i dont see them getting any better. i have a 200 watt CFL (about 14000 lumens @ 6500K) and my grow area is 2x3 any other ideas!?

all you gotta do now is insert the whole thing in a bigger rockwool (carve out a deeper hole if you dont have enough room for your roots) hope this helps. good luck!

i honestly think pc fans are too small for my set up and wont be enough to bring down the temperature (i'm gonna have at least 400 watts worth of CFLs in there) i think i'm gonna go with a 200 CFM fan and hook it up to a thermostat set at 75F.

i've been told that exhaust is more important than intake cs when you create negative pressure in your grow box, air will eventually come in from any openings you have. i'd use two fans as an exhaust, one on each top corner and use one intake at the bottom.

i dont think this is what you need. it's just the paint around the glass that's red. it says nothing about the colour temperature which is what you should be looking at.
