    tubes or bucket?

76-78 degrees gonna cook the roots, no? Good breakdown of a lpa system, hammer21. Why only 6" fence posts? I've seen nice plants out of 6 but any real difference compared to a 10" pipe? 9'x9' space should be able to hold 8 nicely.

    8'x8'x8' tent design - lights / air

It's been a while since I have updated the thread. Avee8or, you're right. I actually saw a guy's thread on here and he had a generator with ducting attached to it. He had an inline fan so it sucked all the co2 into the room. Others were skeptical but it was reported that it was working well...

    tubes or bucket?

I've seen stinkbuds setup before. The concern I have with that system is the spraying manifold can get clogged by roots easily. The fence post chamber is really small 4" x 4" or something. I originally wanted to do 10" pipes or something with daisy chained sprayers on the top, instead of having...

    tubes or bucket?

Hey hammer21, I personally prefer not to do sog. Thanks for the heads up on that. Without the sog style with the pods, is the setup okay? Like with regards to numbers per pod etc. it seems like I might have to split the pods up 2 per pump. Is that enough nozzle for each pod?

    tubes or bucket?

A general design layout of the watering system and plant positions in the pods. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. -Just to clean up the tubing and stuff, will be using T's off the main line to the sprayer lines. In the drawing the sprayer lines are staggered. Pods are...

    tubes or bucket?

It's nice to hear you're looking out for me, hammer21. I'm a fan of k.i.s.s. What's the 3 way solenoid for?

    tubes or bucket?

Thanks for the input pet flora. I was very intrigued by hp but with a system the size I'm building there are too many factors that could go wrong. I want to keep it somewhat simple and minimize my risk of component failure. I'm constantly adjusting the design based on my findings. In...

    tubes or bucket?

Thanks for the recommendation on the tubing. If the pump is quiet, is there any point of having the accumulator? Also I noticed you recommended running at 12 psi approx. any benefit from doing a hybrid system (medium pressure)? Say 40-60 psi..

    tubes or bucket?

What kind of hard tubing do you recommend? I was planning on having pvc or something coming off the pump to 4 solenoids then reduce them down to multiple 1/4 nozzles for each 4'x4' pod. I think I saw one of those multi tap 1/4" manifolds that seemed appealing (not diy.) I want to be able to...

    tubes or bucket?

That's good advice, hammer21. I would want to maximize the space to the best of my ability. If you were using 4'x4' pods, so 4 total in the tent. How many plants would you put in each pod? Also, what's the general rule for amount of nozzles per plant? 2? That pump looks really nice...

    tubes or bucket?

Thanks for the input oxanaca. Scratch the tubes, the volume is too small. What do you guys think of (4) 40 gallon containers under each 1kw light? 16 pods total under 4kw. The container measures 2' x 2' x 1.5' approximately. I like the idea of individual pods per plant instead of having a...

    tubes or bucket?

HPA or LPA, your thoughts on both please: -8'x8' square foot space with almost 8 feet of height -4k total lighting 5 gallon buckets, 1 plant per. or 10" tubes 7.5' lengths Have had some experience with both but not this size of grow, need some opinions. Still designing a build at the moment.

    8'x8'x8' tent design - lights / air

Trying to look for a co2 generator with ducting compatibility so it can be split into both tents. Tanks are gonna have to be changed too often compared to a burner. Any thoughts on co2 generators inside the tent? This one here: Blueprint CO2 Generator LP, CGLP-8 Costs around $380 for the unit...

    8'x8'x8' tent design - lights / air

Oh, okay. Thanks for the correction. Am going by the factory installed flanges in the tent thats why it may have seemed inefficient. Was under the impression the air had to be sucked through the carbon filter and remove from the room. Will look into that internal filter.

    8'x8'x8' tent design - lights / air

Forgot to add the lighting intakes in. Otherwise just letting unfiltered air outside the room. Thanks for pointing that out. Are the fans strong enough with all those bends? Just aiming for an efficient path but it's a work in progress. Not sure what you mean, the carbon filter is internal...

    8'x8'x8' tent design - lights / air

wanted some input on this design, here are some facts about it: -(2) 8' x 8' x 8' tents side by side -(4) 1000w lumatek ballasts on flip (1k cool tube lights 24" long 8" -10" vortex for exhausting hot air off lights (on timer/controls) -8" vortex for the carbon filters can 75 600 cfm. (on...

    Stunted plants

the other 20% that are healthy are huge compared to the rest of them. they all have 5 finger leaves and much more developed. the 80% that is stunted has been under the same watering/feeding schedule since day 1. it seems very hard to believe they are root bound considering the significant lack...

    Stunted plants

So with the 80% that are significantly stunted..... I'm hoping once they are transplanted into the ground they will bounce back.... If it's a soil issue that is. Only makes sense at this moment. 1/7 trays are good, the others are all buggered.

    Stunted plants

Hi everyone, 80% of my plants are stunted. Majority of them are 6 weeks old in 40 oz. paper cups. They do not look like they are older than 2 weeks based on their size which is abnormal. The other 20% of the plants are very healthy, regular growth etc. Same 40 oz coainter. They have responded...

    Germination concerns

Hi, Not my first rodeo but this seems like a noob thing so figured I'd ask. I do the paper towel method and usually everything is germinated by 24-72 hours. -my set up is a tupperwear container sealed with wet papertowel inside. the container is warm and in the dark. MY Question: It's been...
