Typically, how long does it take for the first flowers to start showing up after 12/12 initiated? I should add that the plants, though well rooted (for the most part) were not sexually mature. Also, would one expect to see male flowers before female flowers? Thanks!!

Hmmmm...thanks! It's hard for me to know but I don't think I'm seeing a lessening. I've probably only used this for 20 or 30 weeks so I'm probably cool....Still, I wonder if switching it out soon wouldn't be such a bad idea...if only for my own overweening caution.

Also, if you are growing in hydroton, did you wash them off first?
