Yea i was just doing some research on it some people swear by uv and some say the same it doesnt work on cyanobacteria.. Im gonna keep researching this its very interesting knock on wood ive never had to deal with it.

Whaddabout UV sterilization to kill cyanobacteria if it works?

Yea anytime i have any fan leaf issues its usually becuz of heat and/or ph or a mixture of both causeing problems and wreaking havoc to one another.. Whats ur res temps?
