they are only a month old i am trying to gender them to get rid of the males

i started 12/12 lighting about a week ago and the plants look just like they did before, not sure whats going on is this normal? they are all diff bag seeds so i thought atleast one would show by now.

Now that my first plants are a month old can i put them at 12/12 a while to sex them? then bring them back to veg state? I'd like to get rid of the males for more room.

Ok my first grow i started a month ago I just planted it in Miracle Grow Potting soil and watered about every other day... a month in and they are starting to die. I'm planting a new batch here soon. What kind of soil should I get? and do I i give it nutrients? if so i have 20-20-20 does that...

So is the nutrients the reason the leaves are curling as well? Does part of it have to do with the temp? it doesn't get to cold at night here i live in arizona so like 50 is lowest atm but its still a pretty big shift from daytime. Also should i cut the leaves off that are half dead?

also if i stick my finger in about an inch and a half and it feels cool i don't water is this not right?

so when should i start giving them fert in flowing?
