i would go buy a cheap ph kit they are under 10$ you want to make sure your ph is right where you want it to be

since this is my first bubble grow im not too sure. i started the hps at 18 inches and they are about 45 inches tall now 3 weeks into bloom... i hear people say they grow another 2/3, but this seems to be tripling in height. im wondering if they will slow the growing and start really budding...

that makes me want to go buy one... when the next check comes in. that makes sense though. im going through nutes fast. and when im out do you think it owuld be ok to switch to iconic in the middle of a grow? ill post some pics up tonight of the progress

i was running a 20gal aquarium tank pump in the beginning but now i have just upgraded to a eco air1 very quiet 18w and 38 liters/min so it pumps some great air. i think that would do fine for you. but a 50l res might get small during flowering as im finding out now haha i have 2 plants in 10g...

hey ireland, im using super nutrients grow and bloom, i found it at my local hydro shop. im going to switch to ionic nutes. also at my local grow shop about the same price. but they have better support. i couldnt find a feeding schedule or anything for the stuff im using.

its been a crazy week with Easter and building a veg closet to put my new ladies that i just popped in. they look great considering that 10 days ago they went into the paper towel to germ. I had 8 other plants going, 4 of them turned out to be male and will be disposed of tonight i cut them...

i think thats a good idea you want the right spectrum for the right part of your grow cycle.

quick update: on thursday i started germing 1 white widow, 1 white russian, 1 super lemon haze and one ufo blue widow. i checked them last night and all are ready for the rockwool. each have nice tap roots going just 2 days after i started them, today they will be put in the rockwool and put...

yesterday the plants went into bloom, i did some work in the grow room. put up a air filter for odor control, put up the hps. everything is running fine on bloom nutes as well. the plants look happy and are just 19 inches tall

im not an expert this is my first grow but yeah id say 25% if any at that point

how old are they id start 1/4 str once the roots hit the water 1/2 str the next week and so on. thats what i plan on next grow

just in the middle of the res change and waiting for the tubs to fill back up. they are all about 1 foot tall now, they are running out of space fast so this will be the last res change in veg next week im going to bloom. they are drinking quite a bit now, do i replace the water with nute...

Alright got some new pics up they are all right about 8-10" now except 1 that is lacking far behind though her leaves and roots look fine. for my next batch im going to try a differnt set up. i want to keep about 9 plants going at once. and this dwc method is not working like i planned there...

since the res change on friday morning, they have grown quite a bit almost 3" on one 2.5" for most i cant believe it really. ill get some pics up in the morning.... dont forget to turn your clocks forward :bigjoint:

things look to be coming back around.. im glad i used bag seed for my 1st grow, ive got some white russian, blue widow and super lemon haze in the on deck circle(as long as im comfortable after this grow) anyway the plants seem to be growing about an inch or two every 2 days. tomorrow...

this is starting to turn into a journal i guess lol 2 days after the nute and water change they have grown 2 inches and are looking better. the lower leaves that were damaged are not recovering myabe they will fall off and be ok. ph is now at 5.5 but that is the only change from a 6.0

i also just rose the water level to the bottom of the baskets till the roots hit the water
