    Bubble Cloner Help

3 weeks old cutting are probably too rotted to root. Get fresh HEALTHY ones. Get the pH around 5.7-6.0, not 7. You should use a sharp instrument and get a clean cut. I've used 2nd graders scissors, gardening snippers, utility knives, kitchen knives and my teeth. While the teeth option...

    Drooping plants help

The best thing to do is to put that stupid meter in the trash bin. They don't work in low-clay soils. Check if your plant needs watering by lifting the pot - if its too light it doesn't have enough water. The differences are pretty drastic. If your pots are too big to be lifted jam your finger...

Get the stem a bit higher. Rot is happening due to excess moisture and it seems like this place has way too much.

leaves drooping and curling down :S???!

that meter sucks balls for clay-poor mediums.nothing like the good old "lift the pot and see if its light" method.for proper testing you want a tensiometer, like this one: http://www.blumat.at/automatic-watering-system.php#bldigital I still like the "lift the pot" method better for pots that...

Best option for lowering Supersoils PH in 7gal pot?

Gypsum is a 7.5-8.2 very strong buffer. you don't want that right now. if your plants don't show pH issues in veg there's no reason they will show pH issues in flowering.

Best option for lowering Supersoils PH in 7gal pot?

At this point? do nothing if there's no ill affects. /If they show signs of pH issues lower the pH of the water you give to the plant. /If you want to fix the pH to reach a certain value - sit back, relax and light one instead. /

Get your temp much higher and it would lower the RH (relative humidity) quite a bit. /You can put your vents on a thermostat to cool the grow only if the temps go above 27°C./ If you tap is 0.2mS EC you should add nutrients to top that off to 0.5mS. (mS stands for mili-siemense which is the...

    Concerned parent.

It creates quite a bit of guesswork as colloids get into the soil and you don't really know which. (soil holds nutrients)Transplanting a somewhat grown plant into a pre-fertilized soil is like constantly giving a balanced fertilizer, which is what the plant needs at this stage. That way newbies...

until the plant start showing signs of nutrient deficiencies.it depends on the soil, the amount of soil you add, temps, humidity, how much the plant use up etc.

way too much light, temps too low, humidity way too low, too high EC (you should use distilled \ rain water if possible at this stage). You want the 125W CFL for another week at least, at ~10" above the tops. You want the temps around 27 °C - reduce venting. You want the humidity around 75% (higher...
