600W Vertical with Hericules, SLH, Lady Cane and 3rd Dimension

That JTR is super branchy (I made it so), LSTed, topped, supercroped, SCROGED on a cage and flowered pretty early. Its my first vertical run, hope it'll turn out better than my defoliated stadium style SCROGs yield-wise. Welcome :-)

600W Vertical with Hericules, SLH, Lady Cane and 3rd Dimension

I don't have an update for the vertical run so I got you an eye candy instead for now. Its a Jack The Ripper plant finishing its flowering cycle. 20L pot of soil and a cage for all its branches. Cheers :blsmoke:

    AK47 CFL Closet Grow

I don't see any preflowering. Your plants look lush and healthy but the pot seems too small in my eyes. Cheers :-)

600W Vertical with Hericules, SLH, Lady Cane and 3rd Dimension

Correction: the cross I'm working with is Cloud #9 x Jack the Ripper and not x Jilly Bean. I've marked it CXJ and got confused, but got that sorted out. There were 2 JTR males, one heavy yeider and one trifoliate. Will be interesting to find those traits again and cube them.

First Grow Day 46 Of Flowering Thinks Shes Some Type Of Afghan

with 3X13W alone I wouldn't get an oz. I'd get around 10 grams of low quality fluffy buds. Thats if its a high yielding cut. If she get full sun 4-5 hours a day you could get much much more.

First Grow Day 46 Of Flowering Thinks Shes Some Type Of Afghan

how many watts are your lights? if they 26W like ghost suggests getting and OZ out of 3 is pretty much what I would guess. Just make sure they are close as possible to the plant without burning it.

You just got a pack of good karma :-) They look great. Sometimes when people don't have anything to say them just keep browsing. Cheers.

    AK47 CFL Closet Grow

Hi. They look great :-) Make sure to check they don't get root bound in these pots. A larger pot equals much faster and healthier growth. If you want to save of fertilizers you might wanna add guano to your soil mix (if you use one) and cut on your fertilizing for a bit. If you decide to...

First Grow Day 46 Of Flowering Thinks Shes Some Type Of Afghan

90 days veg? thats a lot for a CFL grow... Usually people keep their plants pretty short and cover the with bulbs for coverage.

    Does This Plant Look Healthy?

I'd put a 12W around 2 inches away, not 6. When the plant grows 2-3 nodes I'd actually let it grow on the light as it shouldn't burn the plant and the light isn't effective at over 2 inches for a somewhat mature plant. You plant looks like a seedling and you look like you could use some rest...

600W Vertical with Hericules, SLH, Lady Cane and 3rd Dimension

Welcome nickman :-) Good vibes to you too :eyesmoke: I got a few spare minutes so I thought I would share a side project I'm working on (I got quite a few of these). I'm working on stabilizing a cross I made. Cloud #9 (DinaFem) x Jilly Bean (TGA Subcool, ultra fast flowering male). I just...

    2010 #1 - Indoor Coco-Perlite Hindu Kush & Hailley's Comet 400w

Probably continuous. What to do? Considering your medium probably don't have enough beneficial bacteria and fungi to get the work done by simply adding sugars I'd go with some enzymes product and small doses of sugars such as molasses, honey, sylan, dextarose etc. That should aid in the...

600W Vertical with Hericules, SLH, Lady Cane and 3rd Dimension

Feel free, just don't post too many big pictures that will clog the thread. My screen in about 2.5 feet wide to give about a foot from the light to the canopy. I like my buds close to the light :-) up to 8 inches is good with me. If I could make it larger I'd make it 3.5 feet and let the buds...

    Light Leaks During Veg?

Its not ideal but it works. Plants are like cats - they don't like changes. While in veg you won't get hermies and such but giving them their beauty sleep at the same time for the same duration (or gradually changing it) will result in less stressed out plants which in turn will grow faster and...

    Starting From Soil

    1. Depends on the brand. Usually you'd like to add 20-30% perlite as most mixes aren't well aerated. To some I like to add compost, to some I add guanos, to some I add other things. 2. You put the soil in the pot until its full and water it down. Then tilt it on its side and wait until it stops...

600W Vertical with Hericules, SLH, Lady Cane and 3rd Dimension

Look out for hermies in the 3D, I got 2 hermies out of my 3-pack. I got a VERY short flowering pheno (40-45 days) with decent yield and above average high. This is the last 3D I ran:

600W Vertical with Hericules, SLH, Lady Cane and 3rd Dimension

This journal I'll keep short. I'm using a 600W greenpower light with a magnetic ballast inside a 5" cooltube. The cooltube runs by a 450m3ph centrifugal vent to a carbon filter on top of my tent. The tent I use is a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m and the walls are off gassing so I got them covered with...

    2010 #1 - Indoor Coco-Perlite Hindu Kush & Hailley's Comet 400w

I've used a 400W in around 1.5 square meter just fine. Just lower the screen and bend the plants to cover the light, then adjust the light to fit. Some small branches might snap - it happens and in this stage it doesn't mean much as other branches will take their place. You just need a cm...

    2010 #1 - Indoor Coco-Perlite Hindu Kush & Hailley's Comet 400w

Get more branches to the outer parts - don't place all your branches in the middle. That way you'll let lower shoots grow up and fill the SCROG better. Mulching your pots also helps preventing fungus gnats.
