Last time i reused soil for my female WW she caught aids and slowly died, actually she caught some bugs from the soil i guess they had unhatched eggs in it >.<... this doesen't mean you cant reuse soil, you will have to sterilize it though, somewhat similar to the way you sterilize you grow...

I wouldn't worry to much for another two days, she is probably working on builiding up a bigger root system after you transplanted her :) of course this is just my assumption, i may be wrong.

if your actual setup is exactly scale to your diagram your plants are fucked XD but im pretty sure they are not, this is actualy very similar to my last grow except i used high powered CFLs instead of HPS lights

You should use the algae to make fuel, unless you of course dont have the whole setup to do that :-P. No but seriously, you can always just paint the outside of the container black then use a light reflectant tape such as white. Remember that black will actually attract light if you have it...

True, its always good to let some of the impurities evaporate including chlorine which does no good for you plant.

I agree, your going to need more light or else your plant will have stunted growth.

It really depends on if you think you need them or not, plenty of people grow without having to buy nutrients and instead go a more organic way and may actually "make" their own nutrients. If you have the money i would say to invest in good nutrients as it will help your plants in the long run.

You seem to be doing great! when i first grew my seedling was 2 weeks old and not even that close to the same size as you 5 day old.

It depends on if you are using any grow techniques such as topping, but if you let the plant take its natural course then you can be looking at close to half a pound.

you can keep the plants in vegetative state for as long as you want, you should start inducing flowering after 2 months. But you can really flower any time you want, some people flower straight from seed.

getting a fan to blow the moisture out will help somewhat.

if you've never used CFL''s before then wtf did you use before that?! surely not HPS or MH because they are much better than CFL's when it comes to output of watts and lumens.

It's always fun to compare weed ;) especially when you have the best.
