Is there any vents? Put a hole in the top, and have a fan blowing up, at the light, thatll blow the hot air out the vent. Have another near the bottom with a fan blowing in, thatll suck in cold air.

Yea man, I think if you had a couple in a single plant grow box, it might work, or atleast reduce the smell. If I could grow, I'd buy some and do a bit of an experiment, but right now Im living with my parents so Im not gonna grow. It would be awesome if someone would volunteer to go buy some...

Yea man, Im gonna wait too, but they are pricey, and I dont think they could handle the smell. I guess if you had like 10 around 1 plant it would provide the right amount of light and neutralize the smell, but these things arent cheap. If anyone wants to buy a few and do a review, who knows...

I guess these could also be used to help neutralize the smell. Any input would be great. :mrgreen:

Yea, I know, at first It sounds kinda fake, but apparently they are legit. Air Purifiers So what do yall think? They are a little more expensive, and only come in a range of 14 - 27 Watts, could these help by (obviously) making the air cleaner? Anyone have any experience with these?

Yea man, amount of lights doesnt solely determine the amount of bud. The best way to tell is to just grow the plant.

Agreed, when I said what I did, I thought Venting went without say. So lemme rephrase, 'As for CFLs heating up, Iv always heard the exact opposite as long as there is decent venting'

Iv read many times that transplanting from one pot to another shocks the plants and should be done as little as possible. Is it possible or advisable to do all steps in the same pot? (germ, veg and flower)

With lights, the only "too much" factor you can have is that there is too much heat. In that case, just pull them back some. Can you clarify what kind of lights they are? You mentioned CFLs, are they are CFLs? If so, they are pretty good on not getting to hot. Of course, Im still new to this...

So if I planned on growing 2 plants, whats the average number of 27 watts would you folks suggest(Just so I can get a baseline quantity)? If more light is better, than hell, Ill spend a couple more bucks on more lights if it means Ill grow more.

I'm new, and after reading a bunch, I just have one questions. Other than heat, are there any side effects of having "too much" light?? Would more light/light bulbs differ the growth in any way?
