I was in walmart and saw powdered ph down for hot tubs in the pool section very cheap. Is this stuff safe to use in a DWC system? If not whats the best easy to find, cheap, ph down.

Just picked up 2 heavy duty ratchet pulleys from lowes for $10 a pop works like a charm. No more risk of a stupid chain slipping out of my hand while adjusting. Thanks guysbongsmilie

Thats what i am doing now but I am not very happy with it.

I am looking for a better way to hang my hood so I can adjust the height easier. I am currently using chain but its a real pain to adjust and I am looking at making some sort of pulley system. Any suggestions on a safe way to accomplish this?

No worries i am a little rushed too thats why i might have come off as impatient.I am thinking i might go with a basic one and build a hood with inline fan if i need. I got more fans than i can use. The closet is 5x10 with very high ceiling.
