one more important thing about wiring...make sure if the fan neeeds DC current, you use a wall plug that converts to dc. most likely if its 12v itl be dc but just so you dont fry ne thing had to say that. good luck!

    Pc grow question

no problem. find a plug that would be used commonly with a game counsel like nintendo 64 or a phone charger etc...look on the little 'box plug' and look for the input/output voltage. the input voltage should match what ever you have around your grow area (most homes commonly use 120v) and the...

    Need Help

i could be wrong, but ive seen nute burn many times and it does not look like this. it seems to be dying from the bottom up. normally with nute burn the tips of random leaves get brown and wrinkle up. in this case it could just be a freak pattern of nute burn but i suspect something else. not...

http://www.amazon.com/Tetra-Whisper-Bio-Bag-Extra-Large/dp/B0002DHZWQ they range in sizes and amount per package, but this is the cheapest, smallest and easiest way ive seen thus far for odor control in a small grow such as yours. best of luck

    Help with seeds please.....

one side not about the cfls, they emit light all around as any bulb does, so try to keep them covered / in a reflector like a work lamp reflector. i found mine at walmart or home depot for under 5 dollars. just helps direct your lumens where you need em most and doesn't waste them around open area.

    Chicago cfl Micro grow

i know the lights need to be closer and more light is always better, but its just a little tight packing the cups all around the light. this is about as low budget as it gets using what ever fixtures i found in the garage laying around. once they get a little bigger itl be perfect. as for the...

    Pc grow question

my carbon filter is about 2 inches thick and around 4" x 6". go to a pet store, look for teh multi pack fish tank filters. whisper brand. comes with packs of activated carbon and all you do is pour it into a filter sponge and seal the top with the provided clip. attach to one side of your fan...

Can I use 2 inline fans with 1 fan speed controller?

but remember they are not working at full power. do you have the wires spliced together and directly connected to the controller? a picture would make it easy to tell. if they are wired in parallel they share a common voltage and would not be a problem

Can I use 2 inline fans with 1 fan speed controller?

look at the fan speed controller packaging. it should say the rated voltage it can handle. being that they are pc fans and only 12 volts and very low amperage, id say your fine. if you dont find the rated voltage within limits, leave it run as is with both, check it every 10 minutes for a few...

better off with cfl or HID?

my current grow is being kept up to date in my grow journal listed below, but lately ive been thinking about getting an HPS fixture. nothing big but something. ive always used cfls as they are easy to come by and dont get too hot. my grow area is 32" high x 26" long x 16" deep. im curious if...

    It's a sign......atleast to me

it sounds dumb but look at fertilizers at home depot or what ever hardware store your familiar with. i have plants in soil that get only h20 and organic fish fertilizer. sometimes they look a little deprived of something so i whip up a gallon of miracle grow, give her a little and everything is...

    Overcrowding.

just had to do the same, not all in one but repoting sprouts.. exactly what dura72 said, but to add to what he said, make sure the main root is not damaged, if this does happend, continue to repot in indavidual cups but the ones with damaged roots, saturate the soil with h20. sprouts are very...

    cutting

dont go by time. look at the nodes. there should be 4-5 nodes before you can take a cutting. it may be done with less but for the plant to recover and stay healthy, id recommend that. good luck and happy growings
