you can find your nutrients at any small shopping center i guarantee... places like wal-mart and zellers have good smaller cheaper supplies for less serious growers not looking to devote too much cash into it...

this is my first DWC grow and im not too sure whats going wrong with one of my plants.... there are two growing one is growing fine but the other is begging to curl upwards and go yellow??? is it dieing??? what am i doing wrong??? any help would be greatly appreciated

i'm not an expert on nutes by all means but ive only used most of the cheaper products and they seem to work fine

well i guess i proved that theory wrong... lol... but i am not encouraging not using nutes... because for all i know i may have got lucky on that one ive always been using them since...

i simply just had my soil lights fan and ph adjusted water... i was just trying something basic and it tuned out alright for me

i grew 1 plant on my first attempt and thought id get nothing and still managed to dry out about an ounce

So today when i was checking my two babies that remain one looks like the leaves are yellow and curling up a bit??? anybody know whats wrong??? But on a brighter note the other plant still remains healthy as ever...

I have a black container that i fill up and adjust that'll last me two weeks worth of watering... i'll take it straight from the tap adjust it and begin to use it instantly, but on the other hand my water does sit a bit and i havent found any bad side effects from doing that technique yet...

i am using the same lights as you and it wont effect your hydro bill at all... and it your are using 10 bulbs i'd say you'd been fine for lighting... atleast for the veg stage...

i like the set up you have there i am using a very similar but bit bigger set up and my plants turned out great... Good luck with the rest of the grow

it should start to show by two weeks but i was able to tell on my last plant within the first 3 days of flower... just look closely for the right signs...

for sure... for the first harvest i did a bunch of research through these forums which really helped explain to know when your buds are ready and all that good stuff...

I vegged my recent soil grow for 6 weeks and at that time my plant reached about 12" so i began to flower it then... I am about 7.5 weeks into flower and getting ready to harvest shortly... (Some sort of haze if you were curious)

When i do my veg i like to do 24 hr lighting until i switch to 12/12 in flowering rather than starting with the 18/6... but my first time i did use 18/6 and results did not vary drastically.

i water when i first check the plant in the morning... but if i go back and check and it looks like it needs a drink ill water then... make sure you flush the soil good..
