I would keep my (hid) a least 24 inches away from your canopy.A 1000 watt light puts off a shit load of heat even w/a vented hood.If i were you,I would contiue to use your T-5 along w/your "hid".What is the size of your grow room??????

In my garden,It takes up to as many 4 to 6 weeks or so,I never really thought about how long it took ME to grow a 1foot plant. I have 6 mother plants growing since @ 11/25/07,as of today my tallest plant is @ 2ft high and @ 1 foot wide.

To each their own.I dont use mgrow,but i used too.Use whatever you think will grow the best buds,use whatever u choose too..On this site i do see a-lot of people bashing Mgrow,but remember this......Opinions are like assholes,everybody has one,and they usually stink.

Thanx for the link tOk3s.It amazing to see that a-lot of growers of anything, do not know the power of willow water.

The starter plugs i use i soak very briefly,then throw in the seeds.Put a dome on top and mist daily.wait a couple of days see which plugs seeds took too.the seeds that didnt grow in the starter plug,I reuse,put in another seed.
