Your best bet is to put up some fencing around your plant.I've been outdoor growing for many years and I always put up fencing.It's the only way to stop them,but make sure you bury the bottom of the fence a couple of inches or so.Coons like to dig under sometimes.

Basically,you place chicken wire over your plant canopy and allow your plants to grow through the wire,as it will you manipulate and bend the branches in & out of the wire.You want to make your branches grow horizontal until you flower them and then u let nature take over & watch your screen...
