make sure they are *daylight* cfls, for the veggie. then you might have to use different ones later for flower

yeh wrong kind of light. and you'd have to use a lot of them really close. that would be bad cause those mofo's put out a shit ton of heat

O.K., I got the daylight ones, and I can definitely tell a difference in the light. I'm about to put more soil in to cover up the stem.

the "soft white" cfl's i have are 1600 lumens, just like your "daylight" cfl's. any comments? is the rating still different? should i keep them for later?

foil's gone shouldnt use colored bulbs, especially not green. i got two more of those bulbs too.

i'll get the light tomorrow. it's my first plant, and i wasnt expecting it, so i'm just gonna play around with it a little bit. i'll let ya know in about a week how it's doin. or if it dies.
