Agree ^^ to each their own, what works works, but i f i was to run just passive with my vents open the exhaust would make my tent bow in from vacuum suction, and if i lower the speed of my exhaust to prevent suction i would get major heat issues.

Really if you want a cheap fix for this that wont leave adhesive residue on your tent just get some hose clamps from an Auto or Hardware store.

hmmm, if you use just veg nutes during the whole life of the plant you can burn your plant with high nitrogen that's in veg nutes. after a few weeks of flowering the plant will stop growing and focus on swelling up its buds there for not needing nearly as much nitrogen as a plant in veg.
