Use Mosquito Dunks in your water and crnch some up on top of the soil, problem solved. For hydro use SM-90 in the reservoir.

As long as they are they big thick green ones they won't heat up. I burned one of those skinny orange ones and a timer too, fused the end right to the timer, now I use the large cords made for running multiple power tools. Green would be more stealthy too. + REP

I use 600 watts of LED total in the veg room, two 300 watt grow panels. But the HPS lights are what made these flower.

You can get pretty close with the 400, like 5 inches if it is air cooled.
