More pics, I will be repotting soon, with the clear glasses I can easily see the root development. These pics are about 3 days old, its hard updating so much, but they are much more developed than they look here.

alright then, thanks man. I think i'm going to wait until they need watering every day then go for a 3 gallon pot. The more I look at these snow whites in other logs, they do not get very big, <3ft , just are very bushy, so I'm thinking I should be safe with 3 gallon pots.

hey thanks, yeah I'm going to allow them to grow a bit more before going to a 3 gallon, then eventually 5 gallon I think, unless its more advisable to go ahead with the transplant.

Day 11: I noticed the soil was pretty dry, so I watered them, and this pic was taken before hand, but they are very green now and look pretty healthy to me. I have some more up close pics I will upload when I get home.

Day 9: I have addressed the heat issue, and now my temps are pretty perfect. I am wondering, however , if my babies were too stressed from the high heat. All of them have sprouted, but two of them are still pointing upwards and haven't spread their leaves. Also I'm unsure of if I should still be...

4'x4' heat issue, type of exhaust

I live in a very southern state and the summers get hottt. My grow is located in a non a/c building ( i know, not a good idea). You can see my setup here: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/202943-first-grow-100-fem-snow-white-t5ho.html My cheap-o white thermometer is telling me the temp...

Day 6: All of the rest of the seeds have grown root and were planted. One of the previously planted ones is already trying to sprout. Right now they are under 2 CFL's until I get some of the heat issue addressed inside the grow room, which should be tonight. Pics tonight as soon as I get these...

Day 3: Noticed that 3 of the seeds have very small root development, will be waiting until tomorrow to start planting. Not sure whether to use plastic bags on top of the solo cups for humidity or not, or whether to put them under the t5 right after planting. I'll read up some more before then.

DAY 0: Today I started germination. I took an easy method, dampening 3 paper towels and placing the seeds on the bottom layer inside a Tupperware container. I'll give it some fresh air when I check it, twice a day. Going ahead and preparing my solo cups. I will use clear cups with regular cups...

bump.. I now have my nutes/soil/meters, all I am waiting on is the seeds to get here. I'd really like to have the lighting system figured out as soon as I can so things can start happening. Does anyone agree that T5 would be the way to go? Now it is 18 1/2" deep and 4' tall and 4' wide for...

Help with lighting, first grow, pics

hmm, well it has a roof, the bottom area is 4' and the top is already 2' . I guess I'll just have to train them or something to keep them from getting too big waiting on the flowering room, right?

Help with lighting, first grow, pics

thanks for the input, I was looking on maybe having clones in rockwool on one side of the top, and on the other side have transplanted clones in bigger containers, then on the bottom have either 1 or 2 sections of plants at different stages of vegetation. I was thinking this would keep them all...

Help with lighting, first grow, pics

I've went ahead and started building the grow room. I have a lower compartment for vegging and the top area will be for clones, possibly a 2 part clone procedure to try to streamline things a little quicker. I am starting my first grow soon, snow white, and will start a log whenever everything...
