This whole grow only got 7250 lumens from compact cfl's and 1 halogen(lol). Impressed? I should be getting my 400W HID light kit delivered soon. Also I have a PH meter being shipped from Hong Kong that should arrive any month now :)

Are the silver patches on the top leaves from thripes? Do I have a nute burn or lockout for those deadish leaves?

As long as you have a white and a black you are "wiring the cable in series" but it is technically parallel. If you take out a light bulb they won't all go out.

What's the advantage of indirect lighting for seedlings? Is that HPS/MH only? I'll have to remember for my next time.

Hey missnu for the fan I just put a tiny little desk fan besides the plants facing away from them. Should I point the fan directly at the plants? Will a tiny desk fan cut it?

950 lumens + 800 lumens x 5 + 1500 lumens gives me 6450 lumens for an area of 3 square feet. One needs 2500 lumens psf. So I am 1050 lumens short. And yes I'm replacing the halogen I promise!! :)

That's not at all what is going on, From my newbie experience looking at the plants none of them seem to be burnt or fried. Nonetheless I will replace the Halogen with 2 cfl's tonight. If my plants lasted 4-5 weeks vegging from a single 100w halogen and 2 cfl's I don't see why it wouldn't be...

Yea I checked craigslist and all the sites similar, I missed a guy selling a 400W grow light for 40$ by like 2 months. So ill go grab another splitter from the hardware store and toss the 100W halogen for 2 Cfl's
