well i guess it technically does since it is bringing in fresh air. But you could do the same thing with a regular box fan or inline fan, just without the cooling. Natural co2 levels from fresh air are at about 300ppm. Ideally you want to be at about 1500ppm co2. hope that helps. turtle

With your space I would bump that up to about .35/hr or maybe a little higher. Again, make sure you run the co2 for 2.5 hours on when the lights start and 15 on and 15 off after that until the dark period. You should be golden. Turtle

What are the dimensions of your grow space? If you can have decent ventilation then why not upgrade your hps to a 250 or even 400. I guarantee you will be happy you did. turtle

I have mine set at 0.05. My grow space has a cubic volume of 208 cubic ft.

I believe it has something to do with light acting as energy for spores in the air which in turn can break down the thc and/or cause mold or fungus on your buds. At least that is what I think....
