Your plants look normal for thier age. You cant really tell at 7 days..some plants take off leter as they mature, others grow fast early on....yours are too early, they look fine, dont over nuture them......you shouldnt be given them any nuts until roots touch water, then ease into 1/4 strength...

I would get a second airpump pumping that 2nd airstone...the more bubbly the better. When you tee off of one air pump it kinda kills the intesity of the airstone bubble action a bit. Need to see pics of the roots if thats possible please....how do they look? Other than that, put your lights...

Very true mjg132, but A- we are talking very small amounts of heat, very small, and B- dont really care that its a small heat source because in either instalation its NOT inside the tank like a submersed water pump is, so the heat is NOT warming the water in your tank.
