IMO, the idea that a basment grow will make your house smell is simply untrue. Use an adequate carbon filter and it will be fine. The only time you can smell my grow in my house is when I'm trimming.

I want to add an environmental controller to my sealed room. Most of the units I see say they have a 15a limit. Is that per device? or total? Because I dont understand how you can get a dehumidifier and an AC setup and not go over 15a. Or do they only power up one device at a time?
