Hey guys, went over to the grow expo in San Francisco this weekend and go a ton of free goodies... literally over 40 bottles of additives, nute lines, and every organic additive you can imagine. Some things i should clear up before i continue, i use soil in 7 gallon pots and grow under 600W HPS...

4 weeks Veg, gonna flip at 6/7

Just got my 600W setup, 6 weeks in veg about to flip.. never been so exited :D

I recently switched from ocean forest to vermi fire, OF seemed to work a lot better before had amazing results, but late into veg it just gets clumpy and damp. Vermi fire is the shit tho, amazing blend.

As others already said, T5's get the job done if you want a cheap veg time.. It works and it works rather well. The reflector on a T5 setup gets really good penetration to the lower leaves and helps with full bushy growth. Your gonna wanna toss those bulbs really soon once there a week or 2 old...

I use pray mantis in my tent :D Just a few per container does the job for gnat control. Your idea seems a lot more fun though.
