Powdery Mildew - Neem Oil only works for a short time - Apply Seranade?

Alright. I'm waking this one from it's slumber for an update. I am about halfway through flower, and they are looking healthy. Around this time I start to reduce fertilizer and let a few leaves yellow. Other than that, they look great. The mildew has come back on a few leaves in the back...

Won't burn. Worst case it will just erode the time release chunks and not get rid of it all. as long as you are rinsing, the salts that are uncovered will wash out with the water. The only problem is that there will be more salts still because they slow release. If you flush very thoroughly...

    Need Exhaust In 5x5 Closet

I was having temp issues in my 2X3 cab with a 400. The HID lights heat your walls directly, and they heat your room up with stored heat from the light. The trick is to keep the heat from making it to the wall. I picked up a cool tube. They reduce your light intensity ever so slightly, but you...

Also, I would not recommend using molasses or sugar in an indoor grow. They can be benaficial, but they feed wierd organisms. Outdoor there are predators, but indoors the last thing you need before harvest is a bunch of root fungus or gnats. That said, I understand many swear by it. Read into it...

    Flowering questions

There are alot of arguments for and against flushing. I have used chem ferts for commercial purposes, and now I use organic for personals. The chems should get flushed. They will leave a noticeable taste difference. When you think of a plant, it's mostly water. Whatever is in that water is drawn...

Powdery Mildew - Neem Oil only works for a short time - Apply Seranade?

Oh! And also, "Kush" strains and other highly inbread indica sort strains are particularly succeptable to PM. I went for these PK clones because they were easy to get, and now I'm paying for it. My BurmeseXRomulan is uneffected. Grow diverse genetics, and we can all stop these problems for good!

Powdery Mildew - Neem Oil only works for a short time - Apply Seranade?

Hey! Thanks for all the info everyone, I appreciate it a lot. Powdery Mildew is some strange voodoo and there seems to be many strange tails surrounding it. Some end in bliss, some in misery... I purchased serenade. I coated my leaves. I washed my walls down and replaced the sock on my carbon...

Powdery Mildew - Neem Oil only works for a short time - Apply Seranade?

I'm really not expecting to be rid of it. I know that it is possible to safely control it while it is present, but it is an internal problem. I was just wondering if I take preventative measures on other plants, will I still probably face the same issues? Has anybody tried the milk or baking...

Powdery Mildew - Neem Oil only works for a short time - Apply Seranade?

I found some powdery mildew on some new clones i got. Last time i get clones off someone else. Unfortunately, they have been in close quarters with my other plants in my wardrobe setup. Both my veg chamber, and flowering chamber. I have not noticed any spread to older plants, which are of a...

    Dmt!

Order "Reed Canary Grass" from any ethnobotanical seed supplyer. Stress it as you grow it as much as possible without hurting your overall yield, and harvest leaves before they flower. Juice it in a wheatgrass juicer. Evaporate, smoke, explore. This is by no means pure, but it works well and is...

How do i choose a pheno to clone?

Take a few clones off of each (label them!), let the plants recover and then set them into flower. While they flower, start the clones, and once established, don't feed them too much if space is an issue. Choose the earliest/frostiest/stankiest one and use it's strongest clone as a mother. Grow...

    when should i start flowering

That miracle grow isn't very good. Pick up some proper nutes at a hydro store, it'll last a long time. The MG will do fine for now though. Also, never cut off leaves unless they are shading a bud site. I f a leaf is being damaged by burn or deficiancy, cutting it will only shuffle the problem...

Haha. That is so rad. I'd like to see party cup clones with a full canopy. Transplant, let sit three days, and, FLOWER!

    Baking soda to raise ph?

Baking soda does the trick in a pinch, but should be thoroughly flushed out with properly ph adjusted water asap for the reasons mentioned above. one bottle of ph up will last a long long time.

    Need Help With Light

Why can't you vent if it's ok to leave the door open? These are gonna STINK even when they're only five inches tall. Without ventilation that space will get very hot even with the door open with a 400. You will need that much light to cover your canopy. Venting isn't so bad. Just go nuts with...

PC build in progress, can you make a silent hydroponic method?

You could totally do the humidifier thing, and just store the humidifier a ways away, connected by a hose. The smallest aquarium water pumps are quite quiet, so a lil' flood'n'drain system would be a great option as well. Do the humidifier though, cuz I really wanna know how that goes. Would...

Did I top my clones wrong?(PICS)

I wouldn't recommend topping at all! Why not just bend the top down and tie it, and let the lower sections grow up? It causes almost zero stress to the plant, so it doesn't slow growth, and you don't have to hurt your friends... who you will kill and harvest organs from in a couple of months.
