you can use the AG Nutes, but only at half strength so instead of 2 use one... i like them personally, you dont really need to change the res the entire grow, and it has a PH buffer in it which is nice for someone that has very high PH (like me) so if you dont have money for nutes or wanna get...

most of the time mine will crack within 3 days if not less but id give it 4-6 days before giving up

should be enough for veg but you will want to add a lot more lights for flowering time, or think about going HID, im thinkin about getting a 150W HPS for mine when i get some cash :-D
