Those jiffy cups are nice, the roots will gladly grow right through them provided you stick em in the ground. Be careful to watch the moisture level since those cups love to dry out especially with all that perlite. The seedlings look healthy and a little stretch usually happens so no worries...
I'm right there with you my man, I got 3 orange crush and 2 qleaner started last week all a coulpe inches long now and working on their second node now. It is gonna be an interesting year for sure.
This is a very tough call. Plants can become hermaphrodites from a number of different reasons including stress, genetics and. hormone treatments. Since you did not do the hormone thing that is out. However you did stress the plant out so that seems most likely. Did you take clones before...
Two is better than 0 for sure! I was not sure that any of them would pop since it was my first time pollinating but hey looks like I did alright. I had three different phenotypes, one pheno was a sativa dominant looking plant that ended up tall and very purple in the end. A very similar...
Love the cape. The last frost should occur in mid april so a safe bet would be to have your plants go into the ground around May 1st (I'm just over the bridge and that is when mine go out). As far as germination goes I would start them about a week before you throw em outside so the second or...
Last spring was a joke, nothing grew until July. Southeastern Mass grower, been scouting some nice spots, and about to start a little indoor grow to get a jump on it, should have 5 or so nice females to go out May 1st. Ahh I love this time of year.
Miracle-Gro organic is a cheap, sorry ass excuse for soil. I had a bag last year that shredded plastic bags and other completely unnatural pieces of trash in it. Don't touch that garbage man. I made a modified super soil last year and my plants wer insane form it!
Wuddup jam, funny way to get attention and equally funny that all these guys got mad about it...effective though. So what I would suggest to do is continue with your plan of 5 mothers. 5 guaranteed female plants started indoors is a huge advantage to waiting to start them all from seed...
Hey BJ, sativas in New England are tricky. I am by no means an expert and only have a couple grows under my belt but the majority of my plants have been sativa dominant from bagseed and theses plants do not want to finish in October. If you have the means to artificially shorten the...
Squirrels love to dig my plants up, they often detach the stem from the roots. They dont eat the plant they just dig and bury acorns, birdseed etc in the soil. It sounds like squirrels to me.
