ya i wouldnt even think about cutting the roots, id say thats a no-no

no problem, id say use solo cups, and cut a biohazrd type symbol in to bottom for drainage, and fill it to just about the top with soil, and have the seed 1/2 inch down

i start mine in solo cups, those red cups that 90% of peopel drink beer out of at parties. they get to about 10 inches then i transplant into a 1 gallon bag, then a 3 gallon bag for the final stretch
