Double OG Chem did better for me indoors than outside in OKlahoma, but I have some major leaf septoria issues outdoors. Stellar breeder, should go without saying!
Azamax is an insecticide made from neem, which I have used under other brand names. I have a friend at a university who suggested I get some plants tested to find out exactly what my spotting problems are caused by, but if I keep finding resistant strains I would rather go that route. Its like...
Looking forward to your results! I have only found a hand full of strains that can thrive in my outdoor garden, due to leaf septoria, mainly. North central OKlahoma, with lots of trees around.
1. LEDs can cause white pistils to continue to form on apex buds close to the light, even after the plant is ready to be harvested.
2.Pay more attention to aroma and worry less about trichome appearance at harvest time
3.Don't chase strains, chase breeders! Even when the outcome is not exactly...
I've found that the most important thing in searching for quality genetics is in choosing the breeder. Freeborn, Crickets and Cicadas, Rebel Grown all have decades of breeding and growing experience. They aren't doing pollen chucks to make a quick buck on the latest craze. Double OG Chem from...
Outdoor plants always get some kind of damage, in my experience. A lot of times they can out grow the damage. I have had plants out grow the damage in similar situations. Neem is a solid treatment, and give it time. They are really resilient plants!
People don't seem to be taking hop latent viroid seriously, I personally wouldn't buy a clone online unless it was from tissue culture. Plus I like the variety of seeds as well!
I have never seen nanners in the last 10 days or so create any seeds or any other issues. That was the case this time. And I got a few dozen seeds off the 2 colas I intentionally pollinated on each of my indoor plants this year. Kind of amazing how you can selectively pollinate, both indoors and...
Exactly why I buy seeds according to breeder and not strain name, and you have to do your homework and vet breeders! One of the things that my favorite breeders do is put in years of work on a strain and honestly tell you what kinds of variations can occur in aroma, morphology and GENERAL...
People like Mean Gene at Freeborn Selections stress test plants and take years to assess new strains before releasing them. And it shows! I will gladly pay a little more so that after I spent 4 or 5 months growing something, I end up with quality!
Here is the first pheno of Red Lebanese/Puck x Lime Sour,(Freeborn Selections), as created by CHA. Slamming, immediate high, incredible flavor with notes of cherry cough drops, lime and hash, this was harvested at day 61 and grown in living soil.
I agree and I also keep buying more seeds, but I figure at the least, I'm helping to keep talented breeders in business! And I give away seeds to my friends as often as possible.
